We woke the girls up around 5:00am and said You need to get up - Who wants to go to Disney World? They both were still groggy and said me. It took about 5 minutes for it to register and sink in and then they were bouncing around and really excited!
We got on the planes and both girls did well. They acted they were pros at flying. Gracie asked where are the birds when we were up in the air and she was looking out the window and Mallary wanted to know where her parachute was - priceless! They loved getting served a drink and snack on our longer flight and thought that was great. They also got their "wings" since it was their first flight.
Once we landed in Orlando, we headed to the Magical Express line and hopped the bus to the Wilderness Lodge. We loved our resort and would recommend it to friends. We were really hungry and ate a late lunch at Whispering Canyon. It was good.
Waiting on lunch with a good table of lincoln logs!
The restaurant is full of fun and games and awesome servers.
It was pony ride time and all the kids got horses and ran around the restaurant at full speed!
It was cute!
Next up a waitress from another table grabbed my girls to help her give cake to another girl and sing Happy Birthday. I thought "Oh my poor girls are going to have to hold this strange girls cake and then come back to the table" but this is Disney and I should have known better...here they are with their cake from the celebration!
After lunch we needed a little rest time because we were exhausted since mom and I had gotten up around 4. After that, we toured around, watched the geyser erupt and decided we had to go swimming and hit the water slide!
After swimming and frozen yogurt for dinner we headed to bed for our big day at Magic Kingdom.
