Halloween Party #1

On Wednesday, Mallary had her 1st school party. The children were so quiet and sat down nicely and ate their snack. They were supposed to be dressed in their costumes, but only 3 decided they wanted to be dressed up! Mallary did wear her costume and loved it. They had a parade to the other children's classrooms and she even got to see Gracie in her class!

Ready for School
(She is a tulip fairy. She picked out the costume at the costume store
all by herself and hugged it as soon as she saw it)

After her snack, we all played.
She put on the hat and ran to window to check outside.

Fall Festival

Whew, October has been a crazy, busy month! Until you have children, you cannot fathom all the fun events that Halloween and Fall brings! We love it. Gracie asks me every morning - what fun thing is today. She appears slightly disappointed on the days I say - it's just a regular day today.

Last Wednesday was fall festival at the girls school. Gracie was an old pro at it as this was her 3rd (YIKES!) and Mallary caught on right away to playing games!

Gracie and her friends ready to play!

Bean Bag Toss

She loved playing Hot Potato

Making her popcorn sundae!

Playing Go Fish with Mrs. Donna's help

The Pumpkin Patch

Seeing the beautiful sunshine and warm afternoon, I thought it would probably be the best day to hit the Pumpkin Patch. I wasn't sure how I was going to fit it in our busy schedule, but today was absolutely great. We headed out after lunch time so Mallary could nap in the car (it takes over an hour to get there) and be there right when it opened. It wasn't crowded and the girls got to play on everything w/out waiting. We played, saw animals, rode the corn train, had a snack and pumpkin drinks, hay ride to the pumpkin patch and came home with 2 -17 lb. pumpkins that my little ones picked out!!!

Are you ready for some football???

Saturday we braved the cold and took Gracie to her 1st football game! We decked out in gameday gear, dropped Mallary off in Birmingham and took off for Auburn. We met up with Uncle Alex, Aunt Karyn, Katelyn and Karoline and had a big fun day!!! We tailgated and played and the girls ran around and hugged and snacked and had lots of cousin fun. We watched Tiger Walk, shook our pom-poms and braved the cold weather.

We got to our seats just in time for the Eagle to fly. We watched the pregame show and the 1st Quarter and 4th Quarters in our seats. Lucky for us, Uncle Alex played football for Auburn so for the 2 and 3rd Quarters we played in the letterman's lounge and warmed up. The 4th quarter was a little depressing as Auburn did not pull out the Victory. We had a big slumber party after the game. Lots of pics following.

Gracie loved the megaphone

Cheering on the Auburn Players at Tiger Walk
Best seats in the house...

More tailgate fun!

GAME TIME!

As you can see the picture taking came to an end once we were in our seats. It was COLD!!!
My hands were freezing and we were all bundled up.

Gracie had the best time and we all enjoyed our trip to Auburn!

We will definitely take her back again!

STOP DROP and ROLL

Today was fire safety day at school and boy did my girls have a big day! They LOVED it and I have heard all about the firemen and firetrucks.

Luckily Ashley was working today to capture my kiddos in action with the firemen. Mrs. Donna also shared some too!

Mallary apparently loves a man in uniform...can you blame her?!

Thanks Decatur Fire Department for sharing with our children.
