Three!

It seems like only yesterday that I woke Alan up at 3:30 in the morning to tell him that my water broke 3 weeks early and not on our scheduled c-section date...That sweet little baby joined us a few hours later and life has never been the same.

Mallary you are truly one silly little girl. You crack us up all the time. You pronounce your L's and R's as W's and your V's as B's so it makes for the cutest little words. You refuse to stay in regular clothes if we're just hanging out at home, it must be a dress, dress up clothes or bathing suit. That's right if you stop by our house, it won't be unusual for her to greet you in her tankini.

Currently besides dress up - you LOVE Scooby Doo. I mean LOVE it. I buy what few things I can find for you and they are your treasures. Nana even gave you a TV with a VCR so that you can watch old VHS tapes of it.

You love Macaroni and Cheese. That's about it for food. I can get you to eat a couple of other things sometimes but it's not easy and to drink it's either milk or occasionally a chocolate milk. No matter where we go out to eat or what time of day it is if we say Mallary what do you want we know the answer is going to be 'Macawoni"

You go to school 3 mornings a week. You like to be a little dramatic about going but you always come home with a big smile and I know your teachers love you! I will say you do love the 2 mornings we have alone and so do I. You always want to go do errands with me.

You are so loving and some nights you just can't go back to sleep without snuggling with mommy and Gracie in Gracie's bed. Most nights you end up in bed with Gracie regardless, but you want to fall asleep in your own bed, but you don't like the dark. You need "wights" ON!

Besides school, you get to take ballet one night a week and you are now able to go to Cherub Choir at church. You love to go to Gracie's softball practice and games and cheer for her. Gracie is your best friend and you play so nice together.

We Love you so much sweet Whoo Whoo!

And so it continues

with a school party with all her sweet school friends and then that night with just our family. This year we opted not to have a big friend party and instead go away for the weekend so we celebrated the night before her birthday so we could be up and ready to leave early!

Family Presents and cupcakes!

Celebrating Mallary

As you know we can't just have 1 birthday celebration and call it quits. We have to stretch out birthday celebrations for as long as possible. For Mallary, we started with a family party at Meme and Chief's the weekend before her birthday. We had a yummy dinner at Mexico (as we call all Mexican restaurants) with Elaine and Ava too and then back to Meme's for cupcakes and ice cream and of course some presents.

Singing Happy Birthday

Blowing out her candles!

Everytime I asked her to hold up a present for a pic
I could never see her. It was funny.

Chief helping her with her cupcake!
Thanks MeMe and Chief for her party!

CWS Stew Supper

Our preschool holds a Chicken Stew Fundraiser each year...and the classes decorate the fellowship hall with the kids cute art projects and pics from their classes. I snapped pics of all the cute stuff my kiddos had up on the walls!

made from her little footprint!
(I'm a sucker for all their artwork - we have bins full of it in their closets)

Happy Valentine's Day

The girls had sweet little parties at school and totally felt loved by all their friends with the crazy amount of Valentine's they received. Of course they gave too - Mallary had Scooby Doo and Gracie shared Hello Kitty - along with big chocolate heart lollipops so their friends knew how much they were loved too! It was a dance night at our house so our celebration had to be quick, Alan grilled us steak and then it was off to dance we went. Gracie's one request was a magazine full of pics of her favorite bands and shows. I obliged and her walls haven't been the same since. She even took her magazine to school to show off her pics of Justin Beiber....ha ha ha!

ANOTHER snow day!

Can you believe how many snow days we had in Jan and Feb? We took advantage of this one b/c it may be the last one for 10 years...or else until April. The weather in the south is like that when it comes to snow!
