Trick or Treat Night

Finally after a month of build up - Halloween night was here (thankfully, b/c I don't know if the costumes were going to make it to another event!) Our wonderful friends hosted their 3rd annual Halloween Party and we were so glad to make it another year. It's always so much fun.

Tractor Rides was new this year!

Having a yummy snack

Group Shot...not too bad for this many kids!

I would have liked to have taken more pics of my kids at the party, but you can imagine that was impossible with friends galore, beautiful weather and lots of treats!

After the party, we went trick or treating with Abby and Hudson. Lots of fun and lots of candy!

Group Shot - and the last of Daphne's wig. Yep, she wouldn't wear it anymore.

In action. They were all pros at saying Trick or Treat and Thank You!

Heading Home

Back home checking out our candy! Yummm

Now, let the birthdays begin...we have mine, Gracie's and Elaine's this month and something tells me little Ava will arrive this month as well!! It's going to be another fun month : )

Saturday at the Sandlin's

We helped our friends Sadie and Sawyer celebrate their birthdays on Saturday with a fall festival party complete with a GIANT inflatable slide, pumpkin painting, pinatas and yummy food. The weather was gorgeous and we had a great time.

Even More Halloween Fun!

This week was even more packed with Halloween Fun. I say this every year, but I can't get over how much there is to do the month of October. It's busy, but we are blessed to have lives that get to be filled with such much fun to do and so many friends.

Wednesday night we had a Fall Festival/Trunk or Treat at church. It's so much fun. The girls played carnival games and got lots of candy. Daphne went off with her daddy so I mostly have pictures of Belle, but both had a great time!

Friday was party day at school and they got to wear costumes to school all day! I was party mom for Mallary's class with Miss Ginny, but I snuck over to Gracie's class to get a picture of all them enjoying their snack. By the time I got back to Gracie's class they had already taken off for the gym for more play time!

Playing "Pin the Mouth on the Pumpkin". I'm pretty sure I saw some peaking : )

Gracie's 4 year old class

On another note, as I am finishing this, the girls were yelling for me to come outside with them. I said I was updating the blog and I would be out in a few minutes. Alan said, a few minutes, you haven't updated that thing in 2 years. He had no idea I kept it up...Men...

Mallard Stables

Gracie was invited to one of her sweet friend's birthday party out at Mallard Stables. I had only been out there at night and never knew what a beautiful (and fun) place it was. Gracie and I thoroughly enjoyed the morning out there. I have to say I was totally shocked at some of the things Gracie did out there. She can tend to be timid about things and when she jumped in line for a zip line - I thought to myself yea, right...Much to my surprise she hopped on and loved it. Up later, horseback rides - again I thought, yea right and again - she got on that horse and smiled the whole time. I loved that she had so much fun and did new things that took her out of her typical comfort zone. Alan was shocked when I told him when we got home what all she had done.

Fall Festival

Fall Festival at School was a big hit this year! The girls had a great time playing games, winning prizes, taking a hay ride and making their yummy popcorn sundaes. I am lucky that each girl is in a different time period so that I got to spend time doing the festival with both of them!

The Pumpkin Patch

I love the pumpkin patch and so do the girls! This year MeMe came up to go with us for a fun girls day! We started off with Shopping in Decatur, Shopping and Lunch at Bridge Street and then headed to Tate Farms. I love going on the weekdays b/c it's not crowded. We had so much fun playing and taking our hay ride to the pumpkin patch. We went with smaller pumpkins this year, because today is the pumpkin patch at the girls school. Not sure how many pumpkins we'll end up with this year : )
