Strawberry Farm

 For the past several years, we have made a trip to Brown Farms in New Market, AL to pick the most delicious strawberries.  We love to do this and almost missed it this year...busy schedules, tornadoes kept us away.  This year we finally found some time on a Sunday afternoon (a very unseasonably cold one at that!) to go and as a bonus Daddy got to go with us!  The girls knew exactly what to do - only the red juicy ones.  Gracie picked a whole bucket full!  Mallary picked alot too - however, she loved the tiniest berries she could find!  They were red and perfect, just little and tiny!  We've made lots of batches of strawberry jam, a pie, frozen fruit pops, sliced berries for lunches.  Yum!

CWS Spring Program

It was time again for another Spring Program.  Hard to believe it was the last one for Gracie.  Mallary was super cute - yelling Hi Mommy and Daddy to us several times while her class was on stage.  Both sang really cute songs and of course I was so proud of them.  As usual I don't get good pictures in the church, but here they are.

Easter 2011

I'm going to combine all our Easter weekend activities into 1 long post. 

On Friday morning, the girls had Egg Hunts and Parties at CWS

After church we came home and Meme and Chief came over to 

for Easter Lunch.  This was my centerpiece.  Real Grass in a planter

 with our Easter Eggs.  It was so cute!

  

 And not only did we celebrate Easter, it was Meme's Birthday too!

Thomas's 1st Birthday

We were so lucky to be in town for Thomas Hill's 1st Birthday!   Jamie always has cute themes for the boy's parties and Easter Egg Hunt and party was just perfect for Thomas's Big Day.

A trip to the Zoo!

On Thursday we headed to the Birmingham Zoo with Andrew, Ava and Aunt Elaine. The new Africa section is now open and nice.  We had a beautiful day and afterwards went back to their house to play and to get frozen yogurt.  It was a fun day!
